Three Rivers Crisis Center is recruiting volunteers to become Crisis Intervention Advocates. TRCC could not function without our Crisis Intervention Advocates.  They are the reason we are able to provide services 24-hours a day.  The Crisis Intervention Advocates are the women and men who answer the mobile crisis line on nights, weekends and holidays.  Each year, our Crisis Intervention Advocates log more than 6,350 hours.

Three Rivers Crisis Center is looking for caring individuals who are interested in helping others by joining our team of volunteer advocates. Applicants must be at least 19 years old.  In the spring and the fall we offer a 20-hour comprehensive training on issues of:
  • Domestic violence
  • Sexual assault
  • Child sexual abuse
  • Crisis intervention
  • Listening skills
  • Victim advocacy
For more information contact us or stop by 509 Dakota Ave. Suite B, Wahpeton for an application.
